A fire broke out inside a tourist boat in the Ramlet al-Baida area of Beirut following an electrical malfunction. Civil defence personnel brought the blaze under control and extinguished it completely.
The Civil Defence Directorate's media office said crews worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the vessel once they arrived at the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The directorate did not specify the extent of material damage to the boat.
