An object found near a husseiniya in Sidon's Harissa neighbourhood prompted a security response, but was identified as scrap metal from old welding work.

Alarm spread through the Harissa area of Sidon after a suspicious object was discovered beside a husseiniya. The Army cordoned off the site and conducted an inspection to determine its nature.

Examination showed the object was not a shell, as initially feared, but a piece of scrap metal from old welding operations that posed no danger.
