Internal Security Forces arrested a 25-year-old Lebanese man in Ain al-Dhaab in Akkar following surveillance operations; he is wanted on 20 judicial warrants for theft and arms trafficking.
The Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces arrested one of the defendants wanted by the judiciary following surveillance and monitoring operations in the Ain al-Dhaab area in Akkar, according to a statement issued by the Directorate General of Internal Security Forces. The arrested man was born in 2001 and was moving with great caution in the area.
The detained suspect is wanted on 20 judicial warrants for multiple crimes including theft, formation of an armed gang, arms trafficking, and theft by breaking and entering. The Information Branch completed the stakeout operation on 7 August and managed to apprehend him after careful follow-up.
Security forces handed over the detained suspect to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal measures based on a referral from the specialized court.
