The bodies of Hussein Shakaroun and Ahmad Roumani, both 17, were found Monday morning after an Israeli drone targeted their motorbike in the Dawhet Kfar Remman area.
The two teenagers, residents of Deir al-Zahrani, went missing after the strike Sunday and were located by a health authority search team Monday morning at the site of the attack in Dawhet Kfar Remman, the National News Agency reported.
Contact with Shakaroun and Roumani was lost immediately after the strike. Field conditions in the area delayed efforts to determine their fate until the search operation recovered their bodies.
Israeli strikes and shelling overnight into Monday also targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Ali al-Taher, al-Mansouri and other areas. Israeli forces demolished, bulldozed and burned houses and land in Kfartebnit, Houla, al-Khiam and Hadatha.
The strikes came after heavy artillery bombardment of Dawhet Kfar Remman and surrounding areas, which began late Sunday and continued through Monday morning, alongside airstrikes that hit Dawhet Kfar Remman and the Ali al-Taher heights.
