Lebanon and Israel will hold the next round of negotiations on their maritime dispute in Rome during the second half of September, according to an informed source.

The next round of talks between Lebanon and Israel will take place in Rome in the second half of September, an informed source said. Lebanon hopes that work will resume on what are called the pilot zones in the disputed maritime area.

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa recently confirmed that the Rome negotiations are technical in nature and not tied to fixed dates, while asserting that they will not stop.
