A State Security patrol confiscated 11 generators in the neighborhoods of Abi Samra and Minieh after owners were found non-compliant with official pricing and violating fuel supply hours.
The Northern Regional Directorate of State Security, in cooperation with the Economy and Commerce Department in the North, conducted inspections of generators in the neighborhood of Abi Samra in Tripoli and the neighborhood of Minieh following a referral from the Northern Appeals Public Prosecutor's Office.
The inspections revealed that some generator owners failed to comply with official pricing issued by the Ministry of Energy and committed violations related to fuel supply hours.
Five generators in the neighborhood of Abi Samra were confiscated for the benefit of Tripoli Municipality, while six generators in the neighborhood of Minieh were confiscated for the benefit of the municipalities.
State Security patrols drew up violation reports against those at fault and took legal measures following a referral from the competent judiciary.
